About this Design

This image is a black and white detailed illustration of a grasshopper, drawn with intricate patterns and dots. The insect is in profile, showcasing its elongated body, segmented legs, and antennae. The design uses high contrast and precise stippling to create depth and texture, giving it a vintage, almost scientific illustration feel.

@lorendowding

Black and white animal ink illustration of a desert locust insect. Locusts are species of grasshopper with short antennae. Their bodies are yellow with black bands and their back legs are very long for jumping. Unlike grasshoppers, locusts move in huge swarms and are feared as pests.
